About Brian Elstone's business and services
Brian Elstone MCIOB, RMaPS, MBEng
Brian is a Chartered Builder, a registered CDM Co-ordinator, a Building Engineer and a Building Surveyor.
He has extensive experience covering all aspects of surveying, including Refurbishment, Surveys, Schedules of Dilapidations, Defects, Reports, Architectural Design, Planning and Building Regulations, Contract Administration, Project Management, and CDM-C work, on both residential and commercial properties.
He has worked on projects, small and large, from house extensions, garage conversions, loft conversions and as diverse as the upgrading and maintenance of the Adjutant's Residence within the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, to the building of a Used Tyre warehouse (2,000m2) on a disused refuse tip in Guildford.
From designing and project managing the building of a small housing estate near Guildford in 1980, to assistant Employer's Agent on a Housing Project with a value of over £10m.
He has worked on Local Authority Condition Surveys of Public Facility Buildings, for a Multi-functional Sports Complex. Asbestos removals in Hospital wards, re-roofing projects for Schools, Hospitals and Housing Estates.
Brian has experience in all aspects in surveying and building design both old and new, including stone restoration works on listed buildings and the construction of “SIPS” housing, (structurally insulated panel system).
He has also undertaken garage and loft conversions and domestic and commercial extensions.
